Ron is a proven leader in digital payments with an impressive track record of growing and scaling financial technology companies.
He spent over a decade at Online Resources (ORCC) in a variety of executive positions including Executive Vice President and General Manager of its Banking division, which provided digital banking and payment services to over 900 banks and credit unions, and their 3 million users. During his tenure, the company grew from $4 million to $160 million in revenue. Most recently, Bergamesca was Chief Marketing Officer at Destination Rewards, an enterprise loyalty company, servicing top-tier companies including Citibank, Verizon Wireless, and Allstate. During his three-year tenure the company grew from $35 million to $85 million.
Prior to joining the financial technology industry, Ron honed his operating and marketing skills at Cendant, where he ran the country’s largest credit card protection program, and as a general manager at MBI, a $350 million direct marketing company, where he was head of each functional area in his division.
Ron received his Master of Business Administration degree from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College.
Marcell oversees Payveris’ platform management, channel/account management, solutions consulting, sales and marketing efforts.
A seasoned payments and banking industry executive, he is responsible for developing, directing and executing the company’s sales and marketing strategies as well as conveying how Payveris completes the connection that brings together financial institutions, consumers and merchants within the digital payments process.
With more than 20 years of FinTech experience, Marcell joined Payveris from InComm, an industry leader in prepaid card and transaction technologies, products and services. At InComm, he served as Vice President of Sales and Promotions for InComm Digital Solutions (formally Giftango) which redefined gifting with their innovative delivery of digital eGift Cards to email, mobile phones and Facebook. In this role, he built, managed and executed InComm Digital Solutions’ global retail sales and product strategy. Marcell has also held senior leadership roles at Amazon.com (Global Gift Card Channel), Open Solutions, Timely Rewards and BankServ.
Nate is responsible for leading the Payveris technology teams through all aspects of IT, including systems, infrastructure, architecture, and support services. He oversees Payveris’ technology platform with a focus on product development, technology strategy, and R&D.
With a deep background in high volume payments processing, large scale technology platforms, software architecture, and compliance, Nate is a seasoned executive that brings 17 years of industry experience applying best-in-class technology practices, building highly motivated teams, and fostering innovation. Prior to joining Payveris, Nate was VP, Engineering at Clarus Commerce, where he oversaw the company’s engineering teams and led the efforts to develop, launch, and scale their flagship technology platform that served as the cornerstone for the company’s operations and growth. He is the author of several publications and a frequent speaker at technology events.
Donna serves as Controller for Payveris. With extensive experience in private industry and Big 4 public accounting, she brings a demonstrated track record of leading the preparation and analysis of financial and operational reports, plus proven expertise in driving efficiency and productivity while improving internal controls.
She joins the team from Origin Healthcare Solutions where as their controller she developed and led a skilled financial team including financial and metrics reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, risk management, sales & use tax compliance and reporting, and policy development.
Karen oversees Payveris’ operations, including payment operations, client support, and compliance functions. She’s a digital native and strategic thinker, possessing nearly 15 years in financial services with a focus on digital channels, user interfaces, and customer experience.
Before coming to Payveris, she was VP of Emerging Customer Technologies at PeoplesBank, where she created and managed the Customer Innovation Lab. She was instrumental in implementing new technologies like the BusinessExpress lending platform which provides loans to small businesses in as little as 5 minutes. Her mobile-first design experience and passion for data analytics have proven highly valuable in growing digital acquisition, of both deposits and loans, and increasing adoption of self-service tools like mobile deposit and bill pay. A seasoned business technology professional and project manager, Karen has led multiple system conversions and new implementations from the client side and has brought that experience to the FinTech space.
An MBA graduate from the University of Massachusetts – Isenberg School of Management, Karen completed PeoplesBank’s Management Development Program; Ritz Carlton’s Gold Standards for Legendary Service and Sustainable Success; worked with global advisory firm, Forrester Research, to create a custom mobile strategy; and was named to BusinessWest’s “Forty Under 40,” all before 30.
Her volunteer efforts include serving on the board of directors for the Connecticut Technology Council; promoting STEM to Girl’s, Inc.; and participating in United Way’s annual Day of Caring.
As the leader of Payveris’ Sales team, Greg oversees the sales strategy for achievement of global market penetration and industry leadership.
With more than 25 years of expertise, Greg is passionate about the financial industry and he completely understands the challenges that credit unions and banks face today. Leveraging his experience in building successful go-to-market strategies within the digital payments arena, Greg’s leadership delivers results.
Rooshi is the head of the engineering group at Payveris. He oversees various aspects of Payveris’s technology solutions including research and development, innovation and automation. He also helps drive platform and product development to support the growth of Payveris. His leadership and expertise in the overall IT strategy plays a key role in keeping technology aligned with the business goals. Rooshi is incredibly passionate about all aspects of software development, automation, and solving complex problems, while leveraging technology to drive business efficiency.
He brings deep technical expertise combined with an ability to drive technology strategy in high-growth organizations. Rooshi also has a proven track record of delivering large platforms and products successfully. He has over 18 years of diverse technology experience, which allows him to roll-up his sleeves and get his hands dirty when needed. He is highly seasoned in architecting and developing enterprise scale platforms and solutions. Prior to Payveris, he headed the engineering group at Clarus Commerce where he scaled the technology platform, implemented and enhanced processes, and built a geographically diverse engineering team to support the exploding growth. He also played a key role in guiding and driving the overall technology strategy. Rooshi holds an MBA in finance and a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
Sean is the head of the Quality Assurance, Implementation and Integration groups. He is deeply involved in all phases of implementing Payveris technology, both internally and externally. He and his team ensure that Payveris releases a product that integrates seamlessly for all customers and partners.
Sean has 25 years of experience in the FinTech field, with the last 19 years focused on Digital Banking and Bill Payment technologies. He is most known for instilling quality into his products early in the project lifecycle. Previously, he worked for Online Resources where he was Quality Assurance Manager, leading teams across multiple locations and countries, where he was involved in every aspect of the development lifecycle, from product kick off and design to user acceptance testing.
Seth is the Enterprise Sales team leader that focuses on the top 150 financial institutions in the US. He works with various company areas to help coordinate sales strategy and marketing efforts that focus on the broader financial institution segment.
With over 20 years of software experience and a heavy focus on Digital Banking and FinTech, Seth helps enable Payveris growth in the market's enterprise space. Passionate about the digital financial services industry, Seth applies his extensive sales and marketing knowledge to help with Payveris' go-to-market strategies as a whole.
